The Educational Philosophy

The School’s educational philosophy is built around the integration of the “three pillars” of knowledge and understanding, professional and practical skills and personal development. These pillars provide the focus and strength of the hospitality and tourism courses and the opportunity for students to develop their managerial skills.

The Learning Environment

The School provides a unique learning environment where students live and study on the campus as both guests and staff of a simulated, fully operational hotel. At our Tianjin campus, an application hotel is used for providing students with the real life practical experiences. An integral part of the students’ learning experience is the ability to apply their skills and knowledge whilst they are learning.

This educational model, based upon the full integration of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, thoroughly prepares students for success in management roles in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry.
